STYLE DIVAS: How To Get the Look From “Fashion Loves Animals” Vegan Runway Fundraiser!

The “Fashion Loves Animals” runway Saturday night, a vegan-friendly benefit for Farm Sanctuary ΓÇô a haven for abused and abandoned farm animals ΓÇô included eco-friendly fashion and accessories from Vaute Couture president and Creative Director, Leanne Mai-ly Hilgart and all vegan makeup, courtesy The Body Shop.
The models looked ethereal coming down the runway (a few with adorable pups that could be adopted from the Humane Society). Khadija Amon-ra, Lead Make-up Artist for The Body Shop, tells us how she got the look.
“It’s a ballerina, baby-doll look,” Khadija explained to the DivaGals backstage. “The color is vibrant, so they look like they glow from the inside out. It’s an angelic look with a pop of color.”
Khadija highlighted the face with Oh Deer! Blush Shimmer Palette, part of the Leona Lewis limited collection.
Her team used Shimmer Cubes Palettes in shades of purples on the eyes, outlined false eyelashes with Body Shop’s Carbon Eye Definer in black and set the lashes with Clear Brow and Lash Gel.
Lips were fully filled in with Lip Liner in Clover Pink, covered with clear lip gloss.
