STYLE GAL: The Ledge’s Liv Tyler – Summer-Defying Style!

Liv Tyler is definitely her dad Steven Tyler‘s daughter when it comes to making a fashion statement.

The star of┬áThe Ledge threw style rules to the wind during the movie’s press conference, and wore a leather skirt in the middle of summer!

“I wanted to wear this blouse, and I wasn’t sure what to match it with when I came across this skirt,” she told us. “It’s from The Row,” the exclusive line from all-grown-up child stars Mary Kate and Ashley Olsen. “I’ve got a few of their mini-skirts, and they are great,” she told the DivaGals. She finished off the ensemble with a pair of sky-high Louboutins.

Liv wears considerably less in one of the pivotal scenes of her new film, a psychological thriller about two men with opposing religious philosphies who are in love with the same woman. While we won’t give away what happens, we will say that Liv spent nearly six hours in this position. “I did it for Patrick,” Wilson, one her co-stars. After a scene like that, we┬á know we would need a stiff drink!

“We didn’t have a lot of downtime. But I did like to go to the bar and corner, have a whiskey and listen to the jukebox,” Liv shared. Nice.

The Ledge opens in select theaters on Friday, July 8.
