Back in the biz!

Back in the biz!

On this season of America’s Next Top Model, Tyra Banks is determined to unveil the next “It” girl under 5’7 with the help of celebrity guest judges, including supermodel sensation Jaime Rishar.

Watching a whole new generation of short gals work it on the runway has convinced Jaime, who is just under 5’7, that it’s time to get back to the catwalk!

“I left modeling to start my own company. But since I was on America’s Next Top Model, I’m coming back to the business,” she told the TV DivaGal exclusively while rocking The Boyfriend Shirt for SEW at a Fashion Week party inside The Eldridge on NYC’s Lower East Side.

Jaime, whose episode airs Sept. 23, got a personal call from Tyra to come on the show.

“She knows I have strong opinions, so she told me just to say what you want to say,” explains Jaime, who first met Tyra back when they were both working the modeling circuit in their teens. “All they asked of me was to be completely honest.”

Jaime obliged, though she admitted it wasn’t easy.

“I actually had to be negative. I had to be,” she insisted.

Jaime, who has graced the covers of Harper’s Bazaar and Cosmopolitan and modeled for Jill Stuart and Revlon, gave me the lowdown on how to look like you’re 5’10, even if you’re (several) inches off!

“Wear very high heels all the time,” she declared. “Never cut your legs in half. Don’t wear a skirt down to your knees, or boots up to your knees.

“Always wear short skirts with high heels, and then your legs look really long. That’s what I’ve always done.”

And it works for you, girl!

Catch America’s Next Top Model, Wednesday, Sept. 16 at 8 p.m. on The CW.
