It’s the question Twilight fans have asked for years: Are Robert Pattison and Kristen Stewart a couple in real life?

The British heartthrob was in New York City this past Sunday for the premiere of his newest film Water For Elephants. Kristen didn’t walk the carpet with Robert, but our spies inside the Ziegfield Theatre, where the premiere took place, got the scoop inside!

We hear that Robert and Kristen, who had flew in from the set of Twilight’s Breaking Dawn in Vancouver to be at Robert’s side for his premiere, “sat next to one another ΓÇª they were sweet with one another and very couply.”

If that isn’t enough proof, there’s the very telltale pic of Robert and Kristen leaving the afterparty at Le Cirque together, where the two were caught leaning in for a kiss before riding off into the night.

With that kind of devotion, wedding bells can’t be too far behind!

Water For Elephants opens Friday.
