The Bachelor's Brad Womack Declares "IΓÇÖm In Love!"By Delaina Dixon | December 15, 2010 | Entertainment
“I did find love, and I’m very happy to be able to say that,” Brad just admitted on a conference call that’s kicking off the new season of The Bachelor Jan. 3.
“I was so much more open to the process, and I just had a great timeΓǪ it was so much more fun and the women were so much more engaging. It was a great experience.”
Brad’s even making us a promise. “I can promise you there’s a very happy ending… A true love story happened. For no other reason, that’s a great reason to watch.”
Of course, TV DivaGal remembers when Brad finished the show in 2007, where he left both Deanna Pappas and Jenni Croft at the altar. He swore to me he wouldn’t do the show again. Oh, how time (and cool shoot locations ΓÇô Brad and the Bachelorettes head to South Africa for some fantasy dates) can change your mind.
“I learned to never to say never, I’ll call myself out on that,” he told the TV DivaGal.
“Scrutiny comes along with everything when people put themselves on television, but I truly believe that this process can work and that’s the only reason I decided to do it again,” he continued. “I don’t want to be a single guy, and for whatever reason, I’ve remained single for quite sometime. I feel like I was given a second chance.”
Brad confessed it was hard to date in the real world after appearing on The Bachelor the first time around.
“Once I did try to get out into the dating, people knew everything about me. Some girls were just plain uninterested in getting involved with that. There was a national feeling of the fact that I couldn’t commit.” Brad told the TV DivaGal that before he went back on the show, he’d only been out on four or five dates over the past three years.
Crazy, since he isn’t looking for anything out of the ordinary.
“I’ve always wanted to wind up with someone who is just genuinely sweet and is just as much of a friend as anything else. And I’ve found that.”
Awww… They do say love is better the second time around.
