This Birthday Party Idea Will Make It A One-Of-A-Kind Virtual Experience With Trivial Events!

Hello, my lovely Divas! TV DivaGal celebrated a BIG birthday this past September. And since we’re in the midst of a pandemic, a virtual celebration was in order.
Of course, this could be no ordinary Zoom birthday celebration. So I turned to Trivial Events, a new company that hosts customized trivia parties. It’s the brainchild of good pal and #WBWD Danny Spiegel, who combines his keen wit with meticulous research to create an event that delivers fun, laugh-out moments based on your life/employment/favorite Disney characters.
Trivial Events started by asking the birthday gal — moi! — a bunch of questions about my life. Danny then asked to contact several of my closest friends so he could get some juicy stories from my past (PG, of course!). He then used the information to create unique and sometimes challenging questions, some specifically about me and others more general questions based on that info, like sharing which Disney movie does my favorite Princess Tiana star in? *
The night of the party, around 15 of my friends joined a Zoom link to play the game. While we heard the questions asked on Zoom, we answered the via multiple choice on our phones or tablets so our responses could be locked in to keep score. Danny engaged everyone on the call to share their stories based on their answers — it’s an amazing experience to trip back down memory lane with some of your closest, nearest and dearest. So who won? My baby sister!
It was so wonderful to be showered with all that birthday love in such a unique way. It may be called Trivial Events, but there’s nothing trivial about how much effort is put into this original concept. Trivial Events truly creates a one-of-a-kind, hilariously good time that makes it a virtual party of a lifetime.
