Three Things To Know About the Upcoming Empire Season Right Now!

We can hardly wait for FOX’s hit series Empire to be back on our screens next week. So much that we had to get a little scoop from show executive producer Ilene Chaiken. Here’s three golden nuggets of dish she doled out!

1. It’s a Lucious lesson to be learned. Yep, in the second part of season two, we’re gonna get a ton of backstory on how Lucious Lyon rose to power. Why? Well, Chaiken did admit that Lucious is her “favorite character.”

2. No more stunt casting. Well, at least not for the second part of the season. Chaiken explained that these continuing episodes will concentrate more on the family than their famous friends.

3. There will be death! While Chaiken wouldn’t reveal who dies (or who has, we’re talking to you, Rhonda!), she did say there will be some R.I.P.s on the roster. And yes, she means more than one.
