Happy 25th Anniversary to Bice Restaurant!
By Maureen Martin | November 15, 2012 | Food Fashion StyleThere is nothing better than good food, wonderful wine and fabulous friends. Thats what you get every night at Bice, located on New York City’s East Side
Bice, an institution on East 54th Street for the past quarter-century, is the sister to the original Bice in Italy. The original Bice opened in 1926. Why we love the one stateside? Location, location, location!
Bice is conveniently located a few blocks from either east of the city, from east or west side trains. The hospitality is legend … wait for it … dary. The general manger and staff greet guests like old friends, and you feel like relaxing and staying a while.
The DivaGals stopped by last week to celebrate the 25th anniversary of this neighborhood institution and to meet Roberto Ruggeri, the founder, and Bice’s new owner Piermario Del Rosso. It was a passing of the spatula-baton to a new generation.
We trust that Piermario will keep us running back for more of the mouth watering fried calamari and delicious risotto.
