One┬áof my fave eighties icons Joan Cusack is ready to return to TV!

The Toy Story star headlined her own show What About Joan, back in 2001.

Now she’s developing a new series that would put her on the couch.

“My idea is about medical doctors who are planning to become psychiatrists. To become a psychiatrist, you have to do four years of medical school and then four more years in psychiatric studies,” Joan revealed to the TV DivaGal at Glad Gives Back Cookies For Kids’ Cancer event inside the Cupcakestop.com mobile truck at NYC’s Rockefeller Center.

“It’s sort of a Grey’s Anatomy for the people who chose to look at themselves in that light,” Joan continued.

“I would be a residency director helping them with the psychological aspects of it, and then there would be a chairman who would be the biomedical side of it.”

Joan hopes to shoot the show in Chicago, where she currently resides. While she wouldn’t be a writer, “It would definitely be something I would help produce,” she spilled.

And it would definitely be something TV DivaGal would watch!
