It’s been out there that the series, which commences its final season on Feb. 2, has been working feverishly to bring back original cast member Maggie Grace for the show’s sure-to-explosive ending.

While the network says there is no official confirmation, the TVDivaGal has learned a deal for Maggie’s return could happen as early as the end of this week, if the actress’ upcoming film schedule permits.

How the show will bring back Maggie’s character, Shannon Rutherford who is presumed dead, is still a mystery.

But since they’re bringing back her closer-than-platonic stepbrother Boone (Vampire Diaries‘ Ian Somerhalder), who also bit the dust seasons ago, there’s no doubt in my mind that Shannon can be resurrected as well. We’ll keep you posted right here!
