On the second season finale of Drop Dead Diva Sunday night, we’re all ready to see Jane finally admit to Grayson not only is she in love with him, but she has every right to be since she’s really his dearly departed fiancee Deb. Well, this sassy lawyer better be ready to really plead her case to win over Grayson’s vote, according to Jackson Hurst, who plays the role.

“That’s a hard thing to fathom, somebody else’s soul in somebody else’s body, especially somebody that you love so much,” he tells the TV DivaGal, though he does believe that Grayson and Jane have a vibe. “They have a special connection, but I don’t think he can quite put his finger on what it is,” Jackson says.

Even if Jane leaves out the reincarnation part, her feelings for her co-worker are going to come as a surprise. “I don’t think Grayson realizes that she has a crush on him,” Jackson says. “He just thinks that they’re really close friends.”

Only thing worse than for Jane than being in the “friend” zone? Settling a case!
