TV DIVAGAL VIDEO: Rescue Me’s NYC Red Carpet Season Premiere !

Tonight Rescue Me starts to extinguish its final flames.

The series about NYC firefighters who douse fires on and off the clock closely mirrors real-life headlines this season as budget cuts may close Firehouse 62 for good.

Our fellow roving red carpet reporter, Shaina411 of $haina_TV was on the red carpet for the sixth season premiere last week, where she caught up with series star Denis Leary to get his take on the show ending in 2011 on the tenth anniversary of 9/11. She also got the scoop on what this whole experience has meant to “Uncle Teddy,” series star Lenny Clarke.

Rescue Me, season six, premieres tonight at 10 p.m. on FX.
