Why I’ll Be Watching Celebrity Apprentice Tonight

By   |   March 6, 2011   |   Entertainment

Talk about drama! Just from the promos of Celebrity Apprentice — premiering tonight ΓÇô- we know that this season’s star contestants are just a bit, well, insane. But you’ve got to get a little crazy when it’s for charity right? Here are three reasons why I’ll be tuning in tonight.

1. NeNe Leakes shows off her other side. “I’m sorry, on the Real Housewives of Atlanta you don’t necessarily get to see the business side of me,” the reality star declares. “You will be able to see that on Celebrity Apprentice.” But NeNe promises, she’ll still be NeNe. “I still will keep it real, and I will still represent for Atlanta. So you can believe that.”

2. Meatloaf is totally out to get Richard Hatch. Well, at least in the beginning. “They kept putting myself and Richard together in the same car with nobody else all the time — they’d make us wait together — and I just I have a really National Lampoon sense of humor. And I just kept winding Richard Hatch up constantly,” says Meatloaf who admits he and the cast had their eye out for the winning Survivor villain. “I really thought I’m not going to like this guy… but as we progressed, I said to him near the end, ‘You know what? You change my mind. I really like you.'” Let’s hope it’s real close to the end so we can witness the shocks up to then.

3. Donald Trump may run to be our next president? That’s what the founders of ShouldTrumpRun.com, a website touting a bid for the business mogul to run in 2012, would like. “That’s an independent group of people that want me to run. And it all has to do with the fact that they’re tired of seeing the United States being ripped off by China and by OPEC and by every other country that’s got a brain,” says Trump when I asked him if he had checked the site out. “It’s amazing because it’s over 400,000 people.” Rump says he’ll make a decision one way or another once the show finishes its run in June, and how he runs this boardroom could give insight on how he’d run the country.

Celebrity Apprentice begins Sunday, March 6 at 9 p.m. on NBC.
