lucasneffraisinghopematthias-clamerfoxNeed one good reason to watch Fox’s new fall comedy Raising Hope? TV DivaGal thinks its cute lead Lucas Neff is a pretty good one.

The TV newcomer plays a 20-something slacker who learns he has a baby girl after a forgotten one-night stand.

Lucas’ main co-stars, a slew of five-month babies, may never forget their lines, but they do cross lines of personal space.

“They love to put their hands in my eyes or mouth and up my nose. That’s like their favorite thing to do,” he spills to the TV DivaGal.

And they have their diva moments. “They cry and throw huge tantrums and get tired, and they spit Cheerios in my face sometimes,” Lucas says. “Other than that, they are really cute.” Awww.

As for body functions they haven’t learned to control yet, Lucas remains pretty much unfazed.

“I’m not grossed out by stuff like that,” he says. “I’m probably grosser than any baby.”

We’re going to pass on further explanation, Lucas!

Catch Raising Hope, series premiere Tuesday, Sept. 21 at 9 p.m. on Fox.
