Ugly Betty's Nico: Back For More?

117742_ LetΓÇÖs face it, Wilhelmina Slater has had it rough this season on Ugly Betty.

Along with her boyfriend leaving her at the altar, her own daughter tried to blackmail her for cash. Thank goodness Wilhelmina uncovered the plot and sent Nico sulking on her way, penniless.

Wilhelmina better keep on her game face though, because we may have not seen the end of her loving offspring.

“Wilhelmina told Nico ‘I never want to see you again,’ but clearly, Wilhelmina raised her to be like her,” YaYa DaCosta, who plays Nico, tells the TV DivaGal. “So she went away, but I don’t think that’s the last we’ll see of Nico.”

According to YaYa, Nico’s extortion plot wasn’t just about the money.

“It was about Nico feeling she didn’t really ever have a mother, that her mom was never really there for her, and she had to make Wilhelmina act like a mother in some way.”

Okay, it was a little about the money.

“Nico’s greedy. She wants more money like most rich people, but she really just wants the attention and to get her mother back,” YaYa says. “And she still wants to get her mother back, so you may just see her again.”

Wilhelmina doesn’t quit when she wants something and clearly, this golden apple doesn’t fall far from the tree.
