Weekend Getaway in West Palm Beach (Why You WonΓÇÖt Want to Leave This Hilton Hotel!)

A duo of DivaGals packed our overnight bags and headed to Hilton West Palm Beach for three glorious days. The newest lodging in the city is just a 15-minute ride from the airport and two miles from the beach. That means we started our vacation within the first hour of our arrival.
The hotel has 400-plus rooms and suites –itΓÇÖs connected to the townΓÇÖs conference center — with all the amenities you need: conference rooms, a fitness center and two restaurants on site. But the property still has a boutique feel with its airy design.
Our two-room suite was enormous. There was a living area complete with work desk (quick tip: the mini fridge chicly hidden in a cabinet!).
The a large bedroom with a sitting area is adjacent to an oversized bathroom with a enclosed commode and the best shower pressure in the large glass shower stall.
It was only minutes before we unpacked our bags, slipped into our bathing suits and headed down to the Hilton West Palm Beach pool area. Grabbing a comfy lounge chair, we were right on the edge of the infinity T-shaped pool that will beckon you to test its warm waves, perfect place to spend a couple of hours before the eveningΓÇÖs festivities.
Want live music? Hilton West Palm Beach hosts Friday Summers Nights at Galley restaurant. We heard the uber talented Keba Williams and band, who got the crowd up and moving with their rendition of classic and contemporary hits.
Be sure to order the key lime pie as your evening treat, it was delicious!
We didnΓÇÖt make it a late night as we wanted to make the hotelΓÇÖs Poolside Yoga with Jennifer Martin on Saturday morning. Class is held right on the propertyΓÇÖs great lawn, and believe me, she made us feel the namaste. A $10 donation is suggested, and we got a complimentary mimosa for all our hard work.
Claim your lounge chair early on Saturday, because the Hilton West Palm Beach hosts its ΓÇ£ItΓÇÖs Only SaturdayΓÇ¥ pool party, which is open to the public. We did just that, and enjoyed a full afternoon of drink specials and food available poolside, along with watching the South Florida locals who look amazing at every age, frolic in their poolside best.
TVDivaGal took a little break from the pool to visit CityPlace, the premier shopping, dining and entertainment destination featuring more than 100 stores and restaurants, plus an IMAX theatre, a bowling alley and comedy club.
I did the shopping part, picking up two bikinis from the local H&M.
The next morning, we grabbed breakfast at HiltonΓÇÖs breakfast/lunch farm-to-table eatery Manor, and enjoyed fresh squeezed juice with our omelette before heading out for another adventure. The Manor offers brunch on Saturdays.
