US Open Stars Celebrate At Branch, The Private Members Club In Park Terrace Hotel

The US Open sparkle arrived a little early this year — not on the courts, but perched above Bryant Park at Branch, the dazzling new private members club inside the Park Terrace Hotel. With its chic velvet lounges, golden glow, and views of Midtown that made Manhattan look like your own private playground, the space set the stage for a night that was as stylish as it was sporty.
And oh, what a guest list. I was beyond thrilled to meet my fellow Canadian and tennis’ newest darling, Victoria Mboko! Tennis royalty mingled with lucky insiders for an evening that felt intimate yet electric. Olympic gold medalist Belinda Bencic glowed with quiet confidence, while rising Canadian star Victoria Mboko, fresh from her Canadian Open win, radiated that special sparkle of someone just beginning her rise. Aussie doubles powerhouse Jordan Thompson brought the laid-back charm, and Gabriel Diallo, currently Canada’s #3 singles player, exuded calm, thoughtful energy.
The four champions gathered for a lively panel moderated by none other than Rachel Stuhlman, tennis’s ultimate glamazon and social media darling. Rachel guided the conversation with her signature mix of charm and insight, teasing out everything from training rituals to the hopes (and nerves!) that come with entering one of the world’s biggest tournaments. Guests leaned forward in their seats, sipping cocktails, as the pros shared not just statistics and strategy, but their hearts.
And just when the evening felt like it couldn’t get any better, it did. The athletes swapped rackets for blenders in a playful smoothie-making demonstration, showcasing their favorite pre- and post-match fuel. From tropical fruit blends to creamy power-packed concoctions, guests were treated to sips of the same drinks that fuel the stars. If Belinda’s recipe could give us even a fraction of her energy, we’re game to try it daily.
The vibe? Effortlessly glam with a sporty-chic twist. A night where matcha lattes stood in for champagne flutes, but the sparkle was just as intoxicating.
