What We’re Watching Tonight – 2 Dope Queens on HBO!

2 Dope Queens SERIES PREMIERE (11:30 p.m., HBO) The hit comedy podcast featuring Jessica Williams (I am Jessica James) and Phoebe Robinson comes to screen in four themed hour-long specials. Tonight’s guests include Jon Stewart, who joins the Queens to share early memories of living in New York, and Big Morning Buzz alum Michelle Buteau.

If you haven’t heard of the 2 Dope Queens before, be prepared for the avalanche that is Jessica and Phoebe. The pair has been grinding it out with their popular podcast for a while to live audiences. At the screening this week at Public Hotel we had a sneak peek at what the┬áladies dish on. That includes why white people should apologize,┬á first time basement apartments , queen size beds and peen chats – you know, topics us gals can all relate to.

Taped before a live audience at BrooklynΓÇÖs Kings Theatre, the show features these fun, fearless queens dishing on Cocoa Khaleesis, dating white baes, sex, living in New York, amazing pizza and more irreverent humor. Future guests include Uzo Aduba (Orange Is the New Black), Tituss Burgess (Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt) and more.
