WE WERE THERE! Black Mafia Family on STARZ VIP Premiere Party In NYC

It’s season three of drug trafficking and money laundering for the Black Mafia Family, a.k.a BMF.
We had a chance to hang with the cast members La La Anthony, Ren King, and my personal favorite Russell Hornsby at The Roxy Hotel in New York City. We’ve followed Hornsby since his co-starring role on NBC’s GRIMM. FYI: He will be making his directorial debut this season, and we will also have a chance to see his daughter make her acting debut!
As we discovered in previous seasons, brothers Demetrius Edward “Big Meech” and Terry Lee “Southwest Tee” Flenory began their shenanigans in Southwest Detroit in 1985. By 2000, they had established sales of cocaine distribution across the United States thanks to direct connections to Mexican drug cartels and drug sources located in Los Angeles. History tells us that the two primary hubs of the Black Mafia Family were located in Atlanta for distribution under the direction of Demetrius and in Los Angeles for receiving shipments from Mexico under Terry.
The family drama continues in season three with baby mama drama and more competition for drug territory.
