Here’s the shows we must-see this week — and you should too!

MONDAY, Jan. 4
Telenovela (8:30 p.m., NBC) Eva Longoria is back on our screens ΓÇô and she’s a telenovela star! Head behind the scenes of popular Latino soap opera, and find out why the antics behind the camera are just as juicy!

The Breaks (9 p.m., VH1) One of our faves, Mack Wilds, heads up this trip back into 1990, where three friends who love hip-hop set out to make their mark on the music industry (pictured up top). Based on journalist Dan CharnasΓÇÖ book ΓÇ£The Big Payback,ΓÇ¥ who wrote about the hip-hop business, we love revisiting the fashions and the sounds of nearly 20 years ago!

New Girl (8 p.m., FOX) We loved last season when we learned that Schmidt had said I’m going to marry that girl when he first met Cece. And now it’s all about Schmidt/Cece wedding! We’re going to miss Coach (Damon Wayans Jr.), but that just means more of Winston ΓÇô the hilarious Lamorne Morris!

Pitch Slapped (10 p.m., Lifetime) Have you watched Pitch Perfect a dozen times? Then you’ll love this new docu-series that goes inside the intensely competitive world of high school a cappella. Two cross-town rival teams from New Jersey are given the chance to work with the worldΓÇÖs best coaches and face off in weekly competitions leading to a championship sing off!

American Idol (8 p.m., Fox) It’s the finale season of this starmaking show. Jennifer Lopez returns as host (that means she’ll be on your screen on TWO different networks) as a judge. Look for all your American Idol success stories to return throughout the final season, including third season winner Fantasia.

Mike & Molly (8:30 p.m., CBS)
It’s the final season of this popular sitcom, and it’s starting off with people in crisis. Carl (Reno Wilson) and Mike have new partners, and neither one is feeling it. Molly is also having problems with her co-author. Let’s hope both situations end nicely for the show’s big finale.

American Crime (10 p.m., ABC) Emmy winner Regina King is back with this serial anthology’s second season. This time a young man accuses boys on a private school’s athletic team of sexually assaulting him. King plays mom to one of the accused, along with Andre Benjamin, who plays an accused teen’s dad.

Shades of Blue (10 p.m., NBC) Jennifer Lopez plays a NYC cop whoΓÇÖs dabbled in dubious dealing with her NYPD brethren, and now has to turn sides as she becomes an informant for the FBI. JLo is doing double duty as she finishes as a judge on the last season of Idol!

Growing Up Hip Hop (10 p.m., WEtv) We already took you inside the premiere viewing party of this new docu-series. Now check it out as the kids of Damon Dash, Rev. Run, Russell Simmons, Master P, El DeBarge and Pepa (of Salt-N-Pepa) look to break out from their families watchful eyes and make it on their own.

Flip Or Flop (9 p.m., HGTV) We’re so glad to see that Tarek is healthy again after dealing with a cancer growth ΓÇô and he’s a new dad to baby Braden. Now it’s time for this family to flip more houses that other growing families will love to make into a home.

Ex Isle (10 p.m., WEtv) One of our own DivaGals, Nicole Ferrell, is starring on this new docu-series where she, her ex, and four other couples engage in intensive therapy with relationship therapist Dr. Ish Major, in order to break free of their toxic relationships forever on a lush tropical island! Of course there’s twist: singles arrive on the island to tempt the couples! Hosted by Carmen Electra.
