What You HAVE To Do To Have Perfect Fall Skin (No. 4 Is A MUST!)

Hey DivaGals! We know we’re just coming to the end of summer, which means a girl gotta prepare! That’s why itΓÇÖs essential to get yourself organized and ready for the colder months ahead. Your skin is one of those things that can get affected by bad weather: drying out from the harsh winds, chapping from the colder temperatures and getting inflamed when you’re all buttoned up to the neck! You may be wearing heavier makeup during the fall and winter months, which can have an adverse effect on your skin condition. But donΓÇÖt panic. This is why we thought it would be a great idea to share with you some fall-busting tips for skin. A little preparation now will make a huge difference come next spring!

Hydrate your skin morning and night. As the colder months can be very drying on the skin, itΓÇÖs important to get into the habit of hydrating your skin. A great way to do this is to use a moisturizer both in the morning and before you go to bed. Some people prefer to use a specific night moisturizer in the evening as they find them more hydrating. This will keep your skin looking fresh, even when the harshest weather hits.

Deep cleanse your skin. A lot of the time our skin condition is down to our pores not being cleansed thoroughly. While a normal cleanser may take away any surface dirt, a deep cleansing treatment like a mask can make sure all your pores are completely cleared. This can be done once a week and will keep your skin looking fresh and clean.

Refresh your skincare routine. During the summer, you probably used fewer products, and tried alternative cleansing regimens. During the winter, you may want to refresh your routine and try some alternative techniques. For example, you may want to switch from a facial cleanser to a more creamy hydrating variety. Or perhaps add more products to your morning or evening routine. Maybe you could also consider using a primer underneath makeup to keep the skin hydrated. And even though you’re not basking in the summer, don’t forget that you still need SPF to protect your skin.

Drink plenty of water. Water is nature’s natural detox, so make sure you drink the recommended allowance of at least eight 8-ounce glasses a day. It flushes out the bad toxins in your body and skin and clears out the pores, making your skin look more radiant and clear of spots.

Get professional, right at home. Sometimes we want to give our skin professional-quality care, but donΓÇÖt want to pay out a fortune. Why not try to recreate those looks at home? One popular method is micro needling, which involves rolling hundreds of little needles across your face and lips to stimulate collagen growth. This can be achieved at home with the best derma rollers. After the treatment, you apply a serum which seeps into the skin. ItΓÇÖs a great alternative, and easy to do from the comfort of your home. You can also try DIY Facials, using a cool mask, or a steam treatment.
