TV Divagal loves a pay-off!
So how long will she have to wait for one with ABC’s new watch-very-closely-or-you’ll-miss-something-and-you’ll-still-scratch-your-head-afterwards series FlashForward?
“We need at least three seasons to answer all the questions,” says executive producer David S. Goyer.
That’s a long time from the pilot, where the entire world blacks out for two minutes and 17 seconds, and wakes up to visions six months into their future.
Luckily, Goyer gave some much-need reassurance.
“By the end of the season, most of the questions you have, including the one you just saw, will be answered.”
So what did we just see during our special screening?
Well, TV Divagal doesn’t want to give away too much, but it involves a mystery man in a long black duster coat strolling around in a much ominous manner.
How very Matrix of you, FF!
If you still can’t wait that long, go read the book.
FlashForward premieres Thursday, Sept. 24 at 8 p.m. on ABC.
FYI: Look for a major cameo from animation king Seth McFarlane. Hearing his real voice makes me chuckle.
