Girls’ Night Out with Kat DeLuna, Astra On the Air and Chanel Omari at Uncle Jack’s Steakhouse!

When my DivaGal pal Chanel Omari called me and said “let’s go to dinner,” little did I know it would turn into an awesome girl’s night out!
The┬á106.1 BLI radio host┬áorganized a night out with fellow radio personality, 92.3 AMP host┬áAstra on the Air,┬áand pop singing sensation Kat DeLuna. The location: Uncle Jack’s Steakhouse, located in midtown Manhattan and considered “the Best Steakhouse in New York City.”┬á┬áThe mission: have a fabulously good time!
Of course, the staff at Uncle Jack’s were going to make sure we met our mission. The night started off with cocktails made with blueberry vodka and a bottle (our four!) of Moscato.
The staff prepared a special five-course menu just for us. We enjoyed appetizers of shrimp and lobster stuffed dumplings and roasted portabella mushroom with organic greens, roasted peppers and balsamic vinaigrette.
Next course was maple-glazed bacon (yes, it was delish!) and tuna sashimi with wasabi.
The main course was lamb chops seared to perfection and garlic mashed potatoes for Chanel. We could only take a few bites because the staff was about to bring out the star dish of the night: steak! We dined on prime filet mignon served in its own juice. Needless to say, it was supreme!
Kat, who has performed across the globe, shared on how challenging it can be to be on a worldwide tour, but so worth it for her fans. Of course we wanted to know when to expect new music and another tour. “Just wait and see,” she smiled.
No night would be complete without dessert. So Uncle Jack’s treated us to their best, the chocolate souffle cake, made with rich Belgian chocolate with a center of pure chocolate ganache, as well as some other decadent choices. We’re not sure how we found room – but we did!
