There’s nothing like your favorite neighborhood watering hole. It’s even better when it’s nearly 30 stories up and overlooking New York City’s Central Park. That’s why LiFE Rooftop is one of the best rooftop restaurants in NYC in 2022!

What is LiFE Rooftop?

Perched 29 stories atop Le Meridien New York, LiFE Rooftop is a stunning indoor lounge and outdoor terrace with an incredible view over Central Park. It’s the perfect place to meet friends after work (or after a leisurely afternoon at play) for cocktails and light bites. Stay till dusk and catch New York City’s amazing sunset.

Life Rooftop Food And Libations

LiFe Rooftop’s carefully sourced menu is the brainchild of executive chef Anastacia Song. There are a variety of bar bites along with an extensive drink menu. On a lovely breezy evening, I snacked on a hummus plate and a charcuterie board. I also enjoyed a sampling of LiFe’s small meals, which include choices of pub pretzels, pigs in a blanket, beef sliders, Cajun spice wings and vegetable spring rolls with plum sauce. LiFE’s extensive bar menu features craft cocktails like “Rita Hayworth” with pineapple and sage-infused tequila; “Spicy Paloma” with jalapeño infused tequila, grapefruit and lime; and “Seersucker” with rum, fresh strawberry, lemon and cinnamon, just to name a few.

As it was a dry night for me, I was excited to have the bartender whip up a non-alcoholic concoction that was fruity and light on my palate. Wine and beer are also available, as well as bottle service featuring various champagne, vodka, tequila, whiskey, rum, cognac and specialty bottles.
