Hot shows coming and returning to CBS!

Queen’s Equalizer Reigns!

The Equalizer, which launched in February, is the second most-watched show on TV, pulling in 12.6 million viewers every week. And Queen Latifah‘s reimagined hit series is returning to kick more butt.

The Equalizer returns Sunday,  Oct. 10.

Aloha From Vanessa Lachey!

That’s not just a greeting. Lachey is headlining the newest NCIS incarnation, which takes place in Hawaii! She’s smart, intelligent and courageous… and so is her character. Lachey says that in this show, art imitates life. “It’s about juggling your family as well as your work… and for [my character] it’s juggling that and her country,” she shared. She’s also honored to represent the many women who are kicking butt and taking names in the real world of the Naval Criminal Investigative Service.

NCIS: Hawaii premieres Monday, Sept. 20 at 8 p.m. ET.

FBI Binge!

FBIs CBS

Ready for three hours of FBI? Dick Wolf‘s wildly popular FBI series will be your Tuesday night viewing pleasure, back-to-back-to-back. The newest in the franchise is FBI International, which is being shot in Budapest and co-stars BIPOC actors Carter Redwood and Vinessa Vidotto. The FBIs premiere night kicks off with a three-way cross-over (as if we’d accept anything less!). Expect kidnappings with Jeffrey Epstein and Ghislaine Maxwell undertones. DANG!

FBIFBI: Most Wanted, and FBI: International premiere Tuesday, Sept 21.

Ghosts Abound!

We can’t wait to see more (pun intended!) of Ghosts. A young couple, played by UtkarshAmbudkar and Rose McIver, move into a home inhabited by ghosts. Now playing a dead person means you’re wearing the same thing… for eternity. But the ghost-playing cast doesn’t seem to mind. Danielle Pinnock, who plays Alberta, wore PJs throughout the pandemic, so “I was glad to be back in Spanx again,” she declared. As she plays a Prohibition-era lounge singer, “my costume is fabulous.” Román Zaragoza plays Sasappis, whose costume changed from the pilot to future episodes to be more representative of the character he plays.

Ghosts premieres Thursday, Oct. 7.

Usher On The Activist

Usher is hosting the new CBS competition series The Activist. This unprecedented series features six activists from around the world working to bring meaningful change to one of three urgent universal causes: health, education and the environment. The activists will compete in missions, media stunts, digital campaigns and community events aimed at garnering the attention of the world’s most powerful decision-makers. The competing activists’ success will be measured via online engagement, social metrics and the hosts’ input. Priyanka Chopra Jonas and Julianne Hough serve as co-hosts.

The Activist premieres Friday, Oct. 22 at 8 p.m. ET/PT.

And Finally…

CSI: Vegas is bringing back the original players with a very diverse supporting cast that includes Paula Newsome, Mandeep Dhillon and Mel Rodriguez. “We’re finally starting to see what America really looks like, and that’s really beautiful to me,” shared Rodriguez. Premiering Oct. 6.
