THE 2017 UPFRONTS: WHAT WEΓÇÖLL BE WATCHING THIS SEASON ON CBS!

CBS remains no. 1 across the board, being the most watched network nine years in a row. It’s┬ásecret? ΓÇ£Great content is always king,ΓÇ¥ shared Leslie Moonves, chariman and CEO of the CBS Corporation.

CBS is expecting even more eyes as they celebrate 60 MinuteΓÇÖs 50th anniversary and the new magazineΓÇÖs addition of Oprah Winfrey. Star Trek Discovery, one of the networkΓÇÖs online offerings, is being headlined by African-American actress Sonequa Martin; Jaleel White plays the best pal in Me, Myself & I;┬álove crosses cultural boundaries in the new sitcom 9JKL (so nice to dance with yah, Liza Lapira!). One of our fave British #WBWD James Corden has been tapped to host the 2018 Grammys.

Here are the shows youΓÇÖll want to check out this upcoming season on CBS.

S.W.A.T. (Thursdays)
WhatΓÇÖs It About?┬á Los Angeles S.W.A.T. lieutenant Daniel “Hondo” Harrelson leads a team of cops serving in an inner city neighborhood ΓÇô the one he grew up in.
Our Divalicious Take. Shemar Moore is back on TV, and this time heΓÇÖs headlining his own show. This is a procedural drama, no doubt, but adds even more intensity as the series explores being black when you wear the blue.

Wisdom of the Crowd (Sundays)
WhatΓÇÖs It About?┬á A father whose daughter was murdered creates a┬ácrowd sourcing┬áplatform for people to share evidence, and ultimately find her real killer.
Our Divalicious Take. This is also a procedural drama ΓÇô the platform quickly becomes tantamount to solving other crimes ΓÇô with an intriguing hook. With veteran actors like Richard T. Jones and Jeremy Piven, itΓÇÖs sure to draw crowds to watch it.

Young Sheldon
WhatΓÇÖs It About?┬á DoesnΓÇÖt the title give it away? ItΓÇÖs inside the life and brilliant mind of Sheldon Cooper, when he was a 9-year-old boy back in the late eighties.
Our Divalicious Take. The Big Bang Theory is CBSΓÇÖ biggest hit ΓÇô so it only makes sense to explore the origin story of one of its most beloved characters. While we havenΓÇÖt seen a ton of diversity in SheldonΓÇÖs East Texas humble beginnings, we have a feeling this little genius will make us laugh all on his own. Catch a special sneak peek of the series on Sept. 25.
