The DivaGals spent Monday night sipping cocktails and enjoying a tribute to famed Italian violinist, guitarist and composer Niccolo Paganini. Inside Ascent Lounge in Columbus Circle, several talented violinists gave a sneak peek of the concert they are giving at Carnegie Hall tonight.

Maria Elena Paganini, one of Paganini’s ancestors, is presenting this showcase of music from the famed virtuoso, who received the nickname “the violinist of the devil.” Paganini’s compositions of diverse works include violin and guitar concertos and sonatas for violin and will be performed by five violinists accompanied by the piano.
