From P Diddy and Madonna to Bruno Mars and more, Megu is the new hot spot for celebrities to feast on amazing Japanese food, embrace the incredible decor and party till all hours of the night.

Jon Bakhshi is the owner of the new Megu, a new branch of his Japanese-style restaurant chain, on the lower level of the Dream Downtown hotel in New York City, transforming the space into the number one hot spot in the city where its impossible to get a reservation.

Guests are greeted with a menu that feature creative spins on sushi and other dishes you would find in Tokyo: Think king crab pineapple roll with avocado truffle, tobiko and shiso; sweet potato ravioli topped with kombu foam; and branzino kabocha risotto with kombu, tamarind wakame broth and basil oil. And don’t forget the delicious, melt in your mouth tuna tacos. Cocktails also get a modern Japanese riff to pair with the food and the desert is unforgettable.

For entertainment, Megu has an awesome featured DJ popping hip hop, top 40 and a jazzy EDM trans music that you cant help bop your head to while you’re eating the restaurant’s incredible dishes. The wait staff ain’t bad to look at either, an accumulation of hot models from all over the world at your service, Divas!

Speaking of being the hot spot of NYC, Nick Hissom – a singer/songwriter from London who was recently named emerging artist of the year by iHeart Radio – was spotted celebrating his new single release party #HeAintBetter with Star Shop correspondent and DivaGal Chanel Omari at Megu NYC before the Thanksgiving holiday. After celebrating at Megu, Nick performed his popular single at Stage 48.

Fans went wild for the young superstar, along with Faith Evans, Slick Rick and Redman who also performed that night. You can download Nick’s single now on iTunes and Spotify. It’s a Diva kind of song, so be prepared to have it on repeat!

If you want to plan a bachelor, bachelorette or engagement party; a girls or guys night out; birthday parties and momentous events – or just spot really cool celebrities, Megu is the place to be.

Make sure to book a reservation for your holiday parties or events at Megu NYC at 355 West 16th Street and get 15 percent off your first dining by using discount code #DivaGalMegu!
