TREY SONGZ.┬áThe smooth singer was at the newly opened┬áThe Pool House┬áin sunny San Diego over the 4^th┬áof July weekend. Following an afternoon by the pool, Songz and friends enjoyed an intimate dinner at┬áLionfish Modern Coastal, indulging in menu favorites like the “Rock Shrimp”, “Duck Tostadas” and “Mushroom & Potato Gnocchi.” After dinner, the award winning artist headed to celebrity hotspot,┬áOxford Social Club┬áwhere he gave an unforgettable performance for┬áMonday┬ánight partygoers. We hear The crowd went wild when the ΓÇ£AnimalΓÇ¥ artist got on the mic to perform his hit songs of his latest album┬áTremaine. Trey kept the party going, performing even after the lights came on and taking shots with fans.

SIMONE BILES. Over the Fourth weekend, the gold Olympic medalist, who stands 4-feet 9-inches, tried her hand at being a Harlem Globetrotter. Harlem Globetrotters star Hammer Harrison stopped by the World Champions Centre in Houston to train with the 4-time Olympic gold medalist in her hometown at her gym.While visiting Biles, Hammer also spoke to young gymnasts about important life lessons and believing in your dreams despite obstacles that may occur. AVA DUVERNAY. Ok, this isn’t exactly what the acclaimed director did on the holiday, but her exciting Fourth news. She’ll be bringing the historic case of The Central Park Five to screen in a new dramatic limited series for Netflix. The narrative, five-episode series will be executive produced by Oprah Winfrey/Harpo Films, DuVernay and others. Ava says, “The story of the men known as Central Park Five has riveted me for more than two decades. In their journey, we witness five innocent young men of color who were met with injustice at every turn – from coerced confessions to unjust incarceration to public calls for their execution by the man who would go on to be the President of the United States.” This is going to be intense, must-see viewing.
