P-Valley Is Back In Motion

After a two-year hiatus, P-Valley is back! There were a lot of twists left at the end of season one, and we’re not talking just on the pole. The DivaGals reached out to series star Brandee Evans for the 411 on what’s happening with her character, the always sassy Mercedes.

“This season you will see a little of Mercedes’ back story,” Brandee shares. “You’ll see her trying to navigate how to get back on her feet after her mom has stolen her money, work through an injury and dream new dreams!”

Ah, it’s the DivaGals way to hop back on the wagon when your dreams have been crushed. We’re rooting for Mercedes, whether she stays at Pynk or tries to venture out once again on her own.

We hear that The View co-host Sunny Hostin was out in full force out to support her goddaughter Moonie, who performed at the finale of Kenan Thompson’s Ultimate Comedy Showcase at Caroline’s in New York City. Presented by SimplyC360, Kenan Thompson’s Ultimate Comedy Experience is a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity for super talented kid and adult comedians to showcase their talents in a friendly competition. Comedy winners from cities across the country performed their best 4-5 minute set with cash prizes, tickets to SNL, and more on the line!

A portion of the proceeds from the Ultimate Comedy Experience will go to the Cristian Rivera Foundation, a non-profit organization that works to find a cure for Diffuse Intrinsic Pontine Glioma (DIPG), a rare pediatric brain tumor that claims the lives of 200-300 children a year.
