Guests gathered at Martin Luther King Jr International Chapel in Atlanta to celebrate eight individuals who have made significant achievements in their respective fields, and actress Jada Pinkett Smith received the HBCU Icon Award. Jada’s recognition comes on the 30th anniversary of the series A Different World, where she played the feisty Lena.
