As TV DivaGal mentioned yesterday, one of the best things about Wednesdays is getting dressed up for my Facebook series Sexy is Timeless Talks. I get to give great face. Here’s how I achieve my look!

THE FACE. It’s important to start with clean skin. The night before a taping, I pamper my face with Kindred Skincare. This organic, oil-based line is hand-batched in Delaware. After washing my face, I gently exfoliate my skin with Kindred Polish Cleanse, a gentle but highly effective exfoliant. I mentioned this is an oil-based brand, right? You can feel the oil on your skin while massaging it in and after you rinse, it leaves a hydrating film. To make sure that the film does its job, I slip on a Thermabliss Thermafusion Self-Heating Mask. Mix warm water into the pouch and the mask puffs up into a warm compress. Place it on the face — moist side on its own, dry side with a wrapped towel — to deliver heat and infuse your favorite moisturizers deeper into your skin. I use my Diuex Eye Mask in the morning for a brighter look.

THE MAKEUP. I love trying new products and colors. So I could hardly contain my glee when I received a box full of goodies from the incomparable Vera Moore of Vera Moore Cosmetics And Skincare. You may have caught the award-winning actress-turned-beauty maven on a recent episode of Sexy Is Timeless Talks (check it below if you missed it!). Pressed powder has been hard to find for my skin tone, but Vera Moore Cosmetics Brown Sugar leaves a poreless finish that looks great on camera.

Now when it comes to lipstick, Miss Vera has got me covered! Her Vera Moore Cosmetics lip collection comes in a dizzying array of colors, and I’m trying them all! My favorite new find is “Peace” in a vibrant violet hue that makes my lips pop!
