Gabrielle Union stunned a the Vanity Fair Oscar after-party in a brown Valentino dress that made her beautiful face the focal point. Ready to get the look on your own? Here are the products and steps Stiles used to achieve it!
“I used the Mineral Fusion Liquid Foundation in Deep 4 in the center of her face and the Deep 5 on the outer perimeter. Under the eyes, I used the medium shade in the Decadence Concealer Palette and the Liquid Concealer in Deep where needed.”
“To add subtle contour, I used Pressed Powder Foundation in Deep 5 under the cheekbones and Warm 7 in the center of the forehead and on the chin to add brightness and dimension. On the cheeks, I used a bit of the Dance Til Dawn shade from the Nightlife Refillable Cheek Palette to add a bit more pop to the contour and the Wine and Dine shade as a highlighter. I filled in her brows with the Retractable Brow Pencil in Dark Brown and set them with the Tweezerman Clear Brow Gel before starting on her eyes.”
“For her eyes, I curled the lashes with the Tweezerman Pro Master Lash Curler, and then lined the eyes with the Eye Pencil in Coal, right at the lash line, top and bottom. Using the Coffee Break Palette, I swept the deep brown over the liner at the lash line and buffed it and blended it into a soft elongated shape. I went over it with the slightly warmer brown to soften the edges and make it feel seamless.
I swept the warm brown shade on the lid and added a touch of the bronzed golden shimmer shade in the center of the eye from the Complexion Refillable Palette in Night Life to add a highlight to the eyes. I very softly buffed a touch of the black powder from the Rock Star Palette into the lash line to really make the eyes pop. Three coats of the Volumizing Mascara on top and bottom gave the eyes, coming them out with the Tweezerman Curl 38 Lashcomb so they were perfectly separated, the last touch of drama.”
