How To Help Volcano Victims In Saint Vincent With Two Diva Warriors Taking Charge – WATCH!By Delaina Dixon | May 12, 2021 | Gal Approved
On April 12, 2021, the isand of Saint Vincent experienced a major tragedy when a volcano erupted. Now entrepreneurs Felicia J. Persaud from Invest Caribbean and Danielle Corbin from The Ritzury Group are leading the charge to help the islanders put their lives back on track.
What Is Being Done In Saint Vincent
By way of a successful Go Fund Me Page, they have organized donations of thousands of relief supplies: water tanks, bottled water, N95 masks, face shields, hand sanitizers, towels, feminine hygiene products and other personal items listed as needed, and distributing them in St Vincent. Some of the PPE product is also being donated to local media on the island through the Association of Caribbean Media Workers (ACM).
Why It’s Being Done
With close to 20,000 people displaced on this small island, and the air becoming more difficult to breathe every day, the people there and their lives as they have known it, have completely stopped — they have had to race with no warning from their homes to save whatever they could. This not-to-small effort being made by Felicia and Danielle is making a big difference.
