The Black Hamptons’ Lamman Rucker Talks About His New Role on BET+! A Divalicious Podcast LISTEN!

The summer may be coming to a close, but things are just heating up on BET+! Tomorrow, the streaming platform launches Carl Weber‘s newest series, The Black Hamptons.

The soapy drama is set in Sag Harbor, an enclave steeped in rich Black history, on Long Island, N.Y. From luxury communities to historic beachfront enclaves, the story will follow the brewing feud between the Brittons and the Johnsons where the difference between old and new money is very apparent.

Lamman Rucker of Greenleaf fame stars as Andre Johnson, a tech mogul whose new money has earned him his spot on the island. But respect will be a lot harder to come by. Rucker is joined by a stellar cast that includes Vanessa Bell Calloway, Elise Neal, Brian White, Blac Chyna, Karon Riley, Mike Merrill, Aaron Spears, Daya Vaidya, Cameo Sherrell, Franklin Ojeda Smith, Jordan Smith, Jennifer Freeman and David Andrews.
