It’s time to say goodbye to Crazy Ex Girlfriend, which is ending its catchy run with its fourth season.

And we have major Crazy Ex Girlfriend┬ánews. Skylar Austin of Pitch Perfect fame is joining the cast – but don’t expect him to be a new character. He’s coming back as Greg!

The role, originated┬áby Santino Fontana, has been “reimagined” according to showrunner Aline Brosh McKenna. Rebecca hasn’t seen Greg in two years, so it’s all about how someone can perceive someone after an extended absence.

The final season is about “recovery and starting from scratch,” shared Rachel Bloom, who plays Rebecca. If you’ve forgotten, she almost killed her crazy ex Trent. Time for a little behind-the-scenes musical break: Rachel wrote an episode in this final season, and will also┬ádirect.

As for the new theme song of the season, it’s “how to boil down a life, into a single theme song,” shared Rachel.

Crazy Ex Girlfriend, the final season, premieres Friday, Oct. 12.
