ItΓÇÖs HOW-TO Thursday, and CBS is bringing us Criminal Minds: Beyond Borders, where an ace team work together to save Americans who have been taken abroad (yep, it happens, peeps!).

Says executive producer Erica Messer, who created the show, ΓÇ£In doing all the research for the FBI’s international division, they have quite a few different teams that could come help you if you’re in trouble, but nothing quite like this team.”

And what a team it is! The spin-off of CBSΓÇÖ popular show Criminal Minds is an international lovefest!
The cast includes Asian-American actor Daniel Henney, who plays a special operations agent; Alana De La Garza who is a cultural anthropologist; and Everybody Hates Chris alum Tyler James Williams, who works the crimes from his technical lair back at home base, as well as Gary Sinise┬áand Annie Funke.┬á”This team, the international response is something that we came up with specifically for this show. And it puts together great minds who have profiling as their foundation for solving crimes,” Messer┬ásaid.

Messer also┬áshared how┬áthe castΓÇÖs diverse nature will play a role in the series. ΓÇ£In this first 13 episodes, itΓÇÖs the whole team solving the crimes, but as we keep going through the series, you are going to learn more and more about the characters individually and what makes them tick,ΓÇ¥ she told┬áDivaGalsDaily at the Beyond Borders press panel. ΓÇ£What makes you look at a crime differently is how you grew up, and what your experiences are. Those will definitely come into play.ΓÇ¥
