Working up a sweat in Pilates and yoga has always been a hard sell to us.
But we changed our minds after stretching and sweating it out at the Nectresse Naturally Sweet Workout with celebrity trainer Kristin McGee at Exhale Sap inside the Gansevoort Park Hotel.
Kristin, a cute, bubbly blonde with sculpted legs and killer abs put us through our paces, doing a strenuous combination of core, Pilates and yoga moves: roll-ups, scissors, planks and her personal favorite, Chataranga.
“If you can just one thing the combination of Chataranga, and Up Dog, Down Dog is amazing,” Kristin shared with us. “It works your core, legs, shoulders ΓÇô everything.” We wholly concur.
After our 50 minute routine, we replenished ourselves with chocolate protein drinks and iced-tea sweetened with Nectresse, a blend of monk fruit and other natural sweeteners. It’s 100 percent natural with nothing artificial.
