GAL APPROVED! Blow Your Mind & Fix Your Wig. Watch Mr. RobinsonBy The DivaGals | August 30, 2015 | Gal Approved
WATCH. If you missed NBC’s summer series Mr. Robinson, you’ll definitely want to catch up. The Office alum Craig Robinson plays a high school music teacher who jams in a band at night. Brandon T. Jackson plays his brother on the show, but Craig revealed that his flesh and blood sibling first auditioned for the role! “He was so nervous,” Craig chuckles. Obviously his real bro didnΓÇÖt snag the part, but he does play in Craig’s house band Nasty Delicious, which is regularly featured in the series. Check out all six episodes at nbc.com/mr-robinson.
REPAIR. We’re always looking for great products to revive our wigs and weaves, and Beautiful Textures Rapid Repair Deep Conditioner gets a gold star! We combed it through our ragged, matted wavy lace front, left it on for two hours, rinsed and hung it up overnight to dry (on a clip hanger, FYI). The next morning the waves were back in effect: softer and more tangle free than ever! Get yours at walmart.com.
BELIEVE. We’re still in awe over seeing WBWD Sebastian Boswell III‘s “This Side Of the Impossible” show at the┬á FringeNYC. This real-life mentalist does amazing mind tricks like correctly guessing the name of your best friend and pulling beans out of his eye (don’t ask) with a number you’ve written down on it. Just in case we weren’t convinced our own pal made a drawing of a music symbol that Sebastian correctly duplicated on his drawing pad (and my friend swears he didn’t let him peek!). Want to be amazed/skeptified yourself? Visit sebastianboswell.com. Catch more cool shows at FringeNYC through Aug. 30.
