WATCH. File this under WHITE BOYS WE really DIG. TV DivaGal scored a VIP invite to Outlander‘s second season world premiere at the Ziegfeld Theatre in New York City. I got my sneak peek on with 2000 avid Outlander fans. But what I really wanted was to meet Sam Heughan, who plays hunky Scot circa 1700s Jamie Fraser. Seems like every other woman wanted it too. At the after-party at the Plaza Hotel, Sam had not one, but three burly men guarding his every move. But you know us DivaGals, we always get our scoop! Escorted inside Sam’s reserved section, the 6’4 star was humble when I asked about his heartthrob status, answering, “Well, I’ve never had security detail before.” He said fans will definitely be rooting for Jamie and Claire in the upcoming season. And for every woman who wonders if he’s just as roguishly charming as he comes across on screen, check this: when I asked Sam what we should do if we ever visit his home country, the blonde Adonis leaned in close and whispered, “You should go to Scotland, go to Edinburgh and find yourself a nice Scottish man.” Oh. My. Catch the Outlander season two premiere Saturday, April 4 at 9 p.m. on Starz.
