Make your Fourth sizzle with our Divalicous GAL APPROVED selections from your Favorite Divas!

Social Gal says: Why not let someone else take care of the meal this holiday? Tommy Bahama Restaurant & Bar, one of our fave spots in NYC, is offering a summer menu of tasty burgers and cocktails. During their summer tasting preview party, I got friendly with a scallop slider dressed with slaw (courtesy of Chef Kouri), and gnawed on barbeque ribs that literally fell off the bone. Mixed with one of their many signature cocktails, it’s all the Fourth fixings, without the Fifth cleanup!

Entertainment Diva says: I’ll still be working my heels on Fourth of July, but I have a major secret that keeps me on my toes (literally!). Still Standing Spray is blend of cooling menthol, arnica, aloe and ilex ΓÇô an herbal mix that is a natural anti-imflammatory pain reliever. That means the points that usually start to burn oh say ΓÇô ten minutes in ΓÇô never do. Yep, you can stay in your heels through the last firework!

Image Gal says: Even us girls of hue have to protect our skin from the sun. Tap into your inner Brazilian Bombshell with DERMAdoctor Brazilian Bombshell Skin Perfecting Body Lotion. It contains a tonic of Brazilian rainforest botanicals, historically used as aphrodisiacs, to help perfect the skin, and “Flawless Sapphire ComplexΓäó”┬á — that blurs skin imperfections. With broad spectrum SPF 30, it’ll will protect you against free radical damage and harmful UV rays. Now that’s worth celebrating.

TV DivaGal says: If you’re looking for something explosively mindless this holiday, then School Dance, the new movie from Nick Cannon, is right up your alley. Telling the story of a young high school student trying to impress the girl of his dreams at a school dance, this urban comedy taps into a bunch of cultural stereotypes that may offend a few. What is fun about this film is counting up all the celeb cameos such as Mike Epps, Amber Rose, Luenell, George Lopez and Wilmer Valderrama, plus there’s a brilliant rift from comedian Katt Williams (I’m pretty sure he free-styled it). School Dance may take place in a high school, but this is a raunchy comedy for mature audiences only! Catch on VOD and theaters July 2.

Single Gal says: Here’s how you can get “gangsta” for the Fourth without a rap sheet! Gangster Duck American Red Ale from Radiant Pig — available in bars across New York City — has citrus and other fruit notes, and mixes in the right amount of hop bitters. Hit a bar or two that serves the tasty concoction before the FourthΓǪ and you just may find a cute boy to be your Independence Day date!

Luxe Gal says: A red, white and blue theme is ideal for the Fourth. I’ll be serving grilled salmon with blue potatoes (served on a white platter, of course!). But what will really make my Independence Day meal sing is adding a pinch of Falksalt once the grilling is done. These salt flakes, imported from Sweden, are milled from Mediterranean sea water and are 100 percent natural. Like all good things in life, just a little packs a major flavor punch. I’ll be topping my dishes with the Chipotle flavor to create delectable fireworks.
