GAL APPROVED! FoxΓÇÖs New TV Shows to Watch This Fall!By Delaina Dixon | May 14, 2013 | Entertainment
There’s nothing like hitting the FOX Upfront party and meeting Lili Taylor, one of our fave ’90s movie actresses (for Dogfight), who now stars on the new FOX series Almost Human. Or listening to The Following‘s Kevin Bacon lead his band The Bacon Brothers in a toe-tapping set. And we just couldn’t get enough of the sweets bar from Relish catering company ΓÇô delish!
Here are the shows you should check out this fall on Fox.
Almost Human (Mondays, 8 p.m.) Michael Ealy as a cyborg? He’s certainly pretty enough. A robot that knows how to feel is paired with a damaged cop who’s just trying to control his emotions now that he’s back on the streets. We loved it when Fox’s Alien Nation brought together two┬ácrime-fighters from different worlds who needed to learn how to understand one another. Hoping the magic can be resurrected.
Sleepy Hollow (Mondays, 9 p.m.)┬á Ichabod Crane is revived in 2013 to deal with the criminal’s head he chopped off centuries ago. His partner is a sassy African-American officer who won’t take any bull. First question he asks her is, “When were you emancipated?” We so see a romance brewing here!
Us & Them (Midseason) Though we’re sad to see Jason Ritter leave Parenthood (he can still make a cameo appearance at the Braverman’s, right?), we know we’ll fall in love with him on this revamped U.K. hit. Ritter is Gavin, who’s trying to take a long distance online relationship offline to be with Stacey (Alexis Bledel), despite a lack of support (and entirely too much paranoia) from their respective family and friends. If anyone can make this translation work, it’s Jason.
Honorable Mention to Enlisted. We loved Parker Young on Suburgatory. Hoping we can catch just as much of “Ryan, the bod” as Parker now trains to be part of the men and women who protect our country’s freedom.
