Let’s face it, the wedding gown has haunted us all since we’ve dreamed of being a princess just like KateΓǪ or maybe even Lady Di. The dress, the shape, the hue — brides of past and present, I admire you. To even begin the process of determining style and budget, or more so style versus budget, and I’m suddenly completely exhausted.

But all of my wedding dress fears calmed the moment the loft elevator doors opened and I stepped into David’s Bridal collection preview. My first steps in I was greeted by a stunning sleeveless gown highlighted by a form-fitting silhouette jewel beaded down to the train.

What made this experience so captivating was the unlimited options for every style, size and member of the bridal party, like this Galina Signature one-shoulder charmeuse slim gown with beaded embroidery at the neckline in ivroy (left, $900) or the Oleg Cassini strapless fit-and-flare gown with layered lace detailing (right, $1,300). Even the mother of the bride has a collection of evening tailored dresses.

The 2012 David’s Bridal has introduced sashes and boleros (for the day-to-night bride!). And with the incredible pricing, a second dress option seems to be viable and transferable; it could be worn by a guest in another color.
