Get Your Hotel Workout On At Hilton Atlanta!

The DivaGals are always on the move. But that doesn’t mean we’ll miss our daily workouts. We’re always on the lookout for places we can keep our healthy life mission in tact. TV DivaGal recently traveled to Atlanta and spent the night at the Hilton Atlanta downtown.

In Atlanta for one night, I wanted to get in a workout (or two!) and enjoy a delicious and healthy meal.


I scored a king standard on an executive floor, which offered a great view of downtown Atlanta. Throwing my bag open, I pulled out our gym attire and headed straight for the hotel’s fitness room.


The spacious facility offers everything needed to get in a solid workout: treadmills, ellipticals, bikes and weights. There are several big mirrors as well, to admire one’s self after sweating it out.


After the gym, I had built up an appetite, and it was time for a healthy dinner. I headed to Trader Vic’s. Located right inside Hilton Atlanta, the iconic eatery offers tropical-infused dishes from around the globe.


I ordered stir fry. It came with a cracker basket featuring Vic’s homemade peanut butter. I tasted, but made sure not to overindulge.


But I threw caution to the wind to try Trader Vic’s Mai Tai, originated by Trader’s Vic’s icon Victor J. Bergeron. It’s a delicious blend of rum, fresh lime, Orange Curacao, a dash of Rock Candy syrup and French Orgeat. Luckily there’s a lot of ice, which shaves off some calories. It was worth that extra round on the treadmill.


As I had early meetings, I made it an early night, slipping into my Hilton Serenity┬« Bed with plush duvets and down pillows. After all, I had to put in a few laps on Hilton’s jogging track its fourth floor (you can play basket ball there as well), before my day got started.

Luckily, I didn’t have to worry about breakfast. As an executive guest, I had access to the Executive Lounge’s breakfast buffet, offering scrambled eggs, wheat toast and fresh fruit, among other things. (You can also enjoy the evening snacks, with healthy choices like olives and cheese).

And I was off, feeling refreshed, satiated and worked out!
