Image Gal continues to get up at 6:15 a.m. to get to NYU Langone Hospital Cardio Rehab Center three times a week for my 7:30 am workout. I do a fourth day of weight training during the week and I feel amazing.
I haven’t just changed my workouts; I’ve revamped my diet. I have decide to take a few things out of my diet while training. I have cut out wheat, most dairy, and red meat–no animal fats allowed!
I’m starting to feel like my old self again–fit and strong with more energy to cope with life’s challenges. And my body is following by looking leaner and stronger!
Even though I’m at my most disciplined, every once in a while, I need a little something with a little kick. Here’s my recipe for a rainy day chocolate craving: the Adult Mint Mocha!
Get 2 tablespoons of 75 percent or higher organic dark chocolate
Melt chocolate into ┬╜ cup skim milk, reduced fat soy or almond milk
Add ┬╜ cup of dark roast organic coffee (I like Colombian)
Add 2 tablespoons Iceberg Vodka new Chocolate Mint Flavor
Add a pinch of cinnamon and clove
I don’t do this often, but it’s a little diet treat that makes keeping away from full fat chocolate treats that will kill me and my diet easier. Sooooo yummy!
