Dancing At TigerBeat Teen Choice Pre-Party with Patrice Majorie

L.A. contributor Patrice Marjorie gets her dance on for Teen Choice!

Last Thursday, I got my groove on at TigerBeatΓÇÖs OFFICIAL Teen Choice Awards Pre-Party, sponsored by NYX Professional Makeup and Rock Your Hair.

That meant hanging with Dance Mom stars and sisters, Maddie and Mackenzie Ziegler, who hosted the fete, and performances from Sophie Beem (pictured up top) and Daya.

Inside, the party hors’ doeuvres and dessert were passed through the evening as Beyonce’s newest addition to her production company Parkwood Entertainment, rising star Sophie Beem, performed her hit songs. Sophie noted how excited she is to be working with Beyonc├⌐, saying she was “so excited” when she got the news she’d be working with the Queen. Pittsburg singer/songwriter Daya also graced the stage with her smooth vocals and hit songs “Hide Away” and “Don’t Let Me Down.”

I caught up with talented and rising teen stars on the pink carpet like Are We There Yet actress and YouTuber Taela Dunn and the cast of Nickelodeon’s Game Shakers, which includes actress/dancer Cree Cochinno. Game Shakers revolves around two girls named Babe (Cree) and Kenzie (Madisyn Shipman) who start a multimillion-dollar title gaming company and decide to take on rap superstar Double G (Kel Mitchell) as their business partner. I’m loving this concept! The talented stars and starlets are all super excited for season two to air this fall.

I also met talented brother and sister dancing duo sensation Mackenzie (12) and Reif (10) Howey from Ft. Laudedale, Fla, who are both sponsored by Vlado Footware and were super excited about attending Teen Choice Awards Pre-Awards Party! They both performed a dance routine for me and I was blown away! These two are definitely on their way to superstardom.
