TV DivaGal continues her journey to lose 10lbs in 30 days!
Hey DivaGals! I’m a week into my journey to lose 10lbs in 30 days. I’ve got the workouts on lockdown. But if you really want to drop pounds, you got to get your diet in check. The simple formula: you’ve got to burn more calories than you take in.
Now there’s a ton of diets out there – the tough part is figuring out which one works for yah! For me, it’s all about eating as much as I can, and staying in my caloric happy place. And that has to include wine!
So how do I plan to stay on track? Here is my three-part formula!!
CALORIE BASE. Sure you have decrease your caloric intake, but from what? Here’s a simple formula to let you know how much you need daily. At Calculator.net you can put in your age, height and activity level, and it will tell you how many calories you need to take in to lose up to 1 to 2lbs a week. I got my number. Go get yours!
CALORIC INTAKE. Now that you have a number, how can you make sure you don’t go over it? MyFitnessPal.com is a great way to track what you’re eating. You simply type in the food you have (or plan to have) and it tells you how many calories you’ve consumed. I like to use it to plan my day, especially when I plan to eat something a little more decadent.
EATING PLAN. So what will we eat? As I mentioned above, I love food, and the more, the better. Smoothies and soups are super-filling and tasty without taking up a lot of calories. With my Nutri Ninja Auto-IQ, pulverizing fruits, vegetables and ice in seconds makes making shakes and smoothies supa easy. I love that you can blend right in the cup attachment and then drink! I’ve also scooped up Eat To Lose, Eat To Win, which gives great recipe ideas. Banana, apple and almond milk smoothie? BRING. IT. ON.
Check in every Tuesday and Thursday for more tips and motivation on how you can lose 10lbs in 30 Days too!
