A real Desperate Houswife?

The show loves a good guest star, so TV DivaGal had to ask: Would former governor of Alaska Sarah Palin ever score a guest stint on the series?

She’s already dealt with unwed teenage pregnancy, an election loss and political office resignation, which is so DH territory!

“Based on her performance in the debates I don’t think she’s the best ad-libber, but maybe with a little training she might be okay,” Bob Daily, Desperate Housewives‘ executive producer, tells the TV DivaGal exclusively.

“We have Drea de Matteo coming in and I think Drea could probably kick Sarah’s ass,” he chuckles.

While Sarah’s “moose-hunting and animal skinning,” prolly wouldn’t click with Lynette, Gabrielle and Susan (though I think gun-toting Bree would approve!), “she looks the part,” Bob points out. Thank goodness for that election-trail wardrobe!

The women of Wisteria Lane would make moose meat out of just about anyone.

According to an ABC spokesperson, “There are currently no plans to reach out to Sarah.”

Desperate Housewives returns Sunday, Sept. 27 at 9 p.m. on ABC.
