STYLE DIVAS: Kim Coles’ New Natural ‘Do — And New Man?

Kim Coles, who rocked braids since her Living Single days, has taken her natural to a new level. The actress/comedienne and natural hair enthusiast hosted the MIZANI 2013 Hair Trend Collection ΓÇ£The Spoken Word,ΓÇ¥ at the LΓÇÖOreal Soho Academy last week rocking a majorly fierce ‘fro.

After years of maintaining her braided extensions, which she would freshen in sections on a weekly basis, Kim finally decided to let her natural do what it wanted to do, and is loving the results. Her hair is like her one-woman performances. “I’m a conceptual person, not a scriptwriter,” Kim announced. We love the results ΓÇô in both areas. And so did a very tall, handsome gentleman who was near Kim’s side all evening!

The night was a major hairfest, with girls working their naturals in a variety of styles in every corner. “If you’re stuck in a natural hair rut, this was the place to be,” says Luxe Gal. “We were so inspired by site and sounds.”
