Having a celebrity wear your clothes is one way to make sure it becomes a hit.
That’s why Keltse Bilbao, founder of Plomo Shoes, who has always loved Sarah Jessica Parker and thinks she is just the epitome of a fashion icon, had to get the star in her upcoming Fall line of shoes/boots.
Like a good detective, Keltse tracked down Sarah’s people, who liked them enough to actually alert the star to their existence. Sarah then picked some styles from the upcoming Fall 2013 line to try out.
Sarah’s request came through, but Plomo only had samples available. Lucky for them, Sarah wears a size 7 — sample size — and several pairs fit her perfectly.
If you think that Sarah is the type of gal who lets freebies gather dust in the back of her closet, think again: she wore three pairs within a week of receiving her Plomos. That was good news for Keltse, who watched sales soars in the styles SJP rocked.
Since we know you’re going to have to have it, Sarah is wearing the Plomo “Vir” boot in sand.
